Eco-friendly Bed Sheets & Beyond Meet Ettitude

Organic bamboo bedding has become increasingly popular within the past few years, due to its eco-friendliness. However, it’s still very new to the market and many people don’t know much about it. Mother Muse makes a commitment to introduce sustainable and ethical brands with all of you.

I found one that I am pleasantly happy with called Ettitude the only bedding company that is going above and beyond using a non-toxic technology to dissolve raw materials and recycle water up to 200x in their closed-loop production process, saving thousands of gallons of water per item.

The cleanest technology to turn raw material into fibers – this technology they use is called Lyocell.

I wanted to share my pros of why bamboo lyocell is the way to go besides the number one factor being 100% organic.

Soft and luxurious

When looking for new bedding I think we can all agree we want comfort. Organic bamboo has the advantage over other bedding as it’s incredibly comfortable and soft to the touch. It is even softer than cotton and very breathable. When I began preparing my bed with my new Ettitude set I noticed that the sheets actually felt cool to the touch this was a new sensation for me with fabric. I did my research and learned that because bamboo lyocell is so breathable it does not trap in heat. You’ll always stay cool and comfortable no matter the season.

Healthy

Organic bamboo lyocell bedding is naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial. Bamboo bed sheets also reduce allergies because they reduce the amount of moisture in your bed which discourages one of the primary triggers to allergies which comes very handy with little ones. I highly recommend changing your children sheets to bamboo. Ettitude immediately saw a gap in the market with this and will be introducing a line catered to our little ones, offering crib sheets and more.

Strong

Bamboo lyocell bed sheets are also more durable than traditional sheets. Bamboo bed sheets, like those made by Ettitude, are made from premium bamboo that is stretched across the entire length of the sheet rather than short fibers being interwoven together, bamboo lyocell bed sheets are less likely to tear and pill than traditional sheets.

Bamboo lyocell is also unabsorbent, which means bamboo bed sheets won’t absorb the oils from your skin. Meaning they won’t yellow over time like traditional bed sheets and they will look clean and fresh making this product worth the price point.

Quality over quantity because interesting enough bed linen is actually one of the next big sustainable problems and contributes to textile waste that ends up in land-fills. People dispose sheets and bedding so commonly, so instead let’s change this. Do your research for the right bedding product. I hope you find my recommendation informative and valuable, so far Ettitude has been my number one choice especially since learning about how its naturally hypoallergenic that pretty much sold me as a mother.
