New to the market, ROQUE was founded in 2017 by Vancouver based jewelry designer Negar Khatami and stylist Michelle Addison.
When Addison and Khatami’s paths crossed, Addison knew that she had met someone who cared about the details as much as she did. She saw an opportunity to bring a line of luxe accessories into the market without the high mark-ups of the bigger brands. And so their partnership was born. Khatami is known for her exquisite craftsmanship, while Addison is well versed in the fashion industry.
In her job as a stylist dressing some of Vancouver’s most notable women, Addison found it hard to find accessories within budget that were well made and modern.The design duo harnessed their passion for jewelry and created a collection of fine-jewelry meant to stand the test of time.
ROQUE stands up to fast fashion culture, defying the trend of mass produced costume jewelry. ROQUE believes in being careful and considered in their choices. They only invest in quality pieces that they can get a lot of mileage out of, and wear every day.
Roque’s collection consists of key pieces that a woman can wear to work, to the gym, to school pick up and even for travel. Each piece of ROQUE jewelry is made with love in Vancouver, stones are hand chosen by Khatami, many are locally sourced, recycled when possible, and set by hand using precious metals. Despite the luxurious materials and exclusive manufacturing techniques, Roque is accessibly priced with rings starting at $65 to $1495.

The Mommy + Me Pearl Solitaire Ring Duo are two handmade pearl solitaire rings in 14 KT gold with a single freshwater pearl at the centre.
One ring is meant for a fashionable mama, and a matching one for her little girl. Addison and Khatami designed this delicate and chic ring duo as a reminder of the sweet bond between a mom and her special little one. The mini version can later be worn on a chain around her neck when it outgrows her little finger.
