Velvet Canyon is an eyewear brand based in Byron Bay, Australia. Founded independently by sisters Bec Nolan and Cass Moase, and LA based photographer Ali Mitton, Velvet Canyon was born of a mutual desire to create something beautiful and lasting.
Combining inspiration from our favourite frames of the 1960s and 1970s with a minimal, modern update and soft colour palette, Velvet Canyon eyewear carry a timeless aesthetic. Every detail is considered, from the highest quality, Italian designed acetate frames, custom tinted lenses and champagne gold detailing to our cruelty free, vegan leather pouch.
Velvet Canyon promotes positive change, diversity and equality. With this in mind, a percentage of our sales will go to charities close to our hearts – currently we are in partnership with Melbourne based organisation for female refugees and migrants, SisterWorks.
