I would describe AEGI New York as sophisticated urban foodware that reflects the style of modern parenthood. They are durable, versatile, and suction hard so your little ones aren’t throwing any bowls and plates across the room. And it doesn’t hurt that their design is beautiful.

AEGI New York’s mission is simple. They believe that beyond just smart design, their products must be safe and sustainable. So their products meet the highest safety and quality standards.

“We strive to safeguard the Earth, our shared responsibility for our children’s future.”

All of their silicone products are freezer, microwave oven, and dishwasher safe, and oven safe up to 425° F. Depending on the product you purchase each product page has more detailed information. Silicone is made of silica, a natural element found in sand. Platinum silicone (also called platinum-cured silicone) is very pure because it is not processed using peroxide catalysts, which may leave impurities. Platinum silicone does not need plasticizers to stabilize or make it flexible, and it contains no bisphenols, PVC, or phthalates. It’s also an eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to plastic because it is inert, which means that it doesn’t leach chemicals into food or soil. AEGI New York also offers a ceramic collection which is a reflection of their silicone products but designed for food prep and storage.

FINAL-2

Their product colours are inspired by poetic scenes.

I purchased their Sage gift set and the colour is inspired by foggy forest hikes, collecting sea glass at the beach, the scent of eucalyptus in the air. The gift sets are a great investment as they include 1 plate and 2 bowls in a premium gift box. Each bowl comes with a lid. You can select the gift set with or without plate lid.

The second item I chose was for my daughter Adaline. The product I selected was the Plum plate and the colour inspiration reminded me so sweetly of her. Described as dusty rose, faded wine, and fingers stained with cherry juice (minus the wine part).

“Aegi is pronounced like “eggy” and is used to refer to someone you love, your baby, your darling. We hope you love using Aegi New York for your aegi.”

FINAL-3

I love how versatile AEGI New York is. My son is 21 months and loves to spill his food, but the suction on AEGI eliminates this problem. I’ve tried multiple brands that have not worked or their suction only lasted for a month. I am very impressed with this innovative design that lasts.
