Becoming a parent comes with great responsibility – what we do for our children needs to better our planet. Thus, the demand for clothes that are both beautiful and responsibly made is increasing. This is why Mother Muse makes it a priority to share with all of you brands that benefit our planet (besides resourcing beautiful finds and hand me downs). I am excited to introduce Liilu a collection of 100% organic cotton and naturally coloured pieces for both mother and child.

When my pieces from Liilu arrived the first thing that caught my eye was the beautiful unique smell…each piece is pre-washed with their signature scent. Simple things like this define a brand and make it special, little things never go un-noticed.

To be honest I hope they make a perfume down the road…

Not like your typical cheesy mommy & me matching sets Liilu ups their game with timeless, minimal designs. Complimented with a neutral and warm colour palette that flatter all skin types. The women’s pieces are one size with a very relaxed fit making you feel comfortable (extremely important when you’re playing with little ones all day) but with feminine details that make you feel beautiful.

The children’s styles are a miniature version of the women’s line with the same care in detail and quality. The pieces are made strong. This simple detail impacts our planet, buying strong quality pieces that last long with an attractive price point, you can’t go wrong.

We have created a thoughtful chosen color palette to underline the free spirit thought. Oversized cuts leave room for endless combinations. Each piece has gone through a special washing with a unique scent.

Our SS19 collection is about the dreamer in us, who allows its’ mind wander to unknown places. Far away and yet so close. Just like a daydream.

Inspired by travels abroad and the lightness of her own childhood, the German designer and mother of two, Sibylle Pal, is truly the heart behind the brand. Her passion for simplicity and aesthetics are the signature of each collection.
