Holiday Gift Guide for her
Mother Muse has curated a gift guide of quality items for the Mother in your life. Each item has been thoughtfully included because it’s an item we have personally experienced (not sponsored) and truly believe in.
Below gallery you will find shopping links to each item
Item One, Ayu’s scented oils.
Which are made and measured with the ancient art of perfume, combined with the knowledge of balancing the mind, body and spirit. My personal favourite is Ode which is rich with earthy notes of amber, saffron and sandalwood, lightly balanced with delicate rose.
Item Two, Intent Choker from Amarlio.
Which celebrates a casual and statement look and made with 14k gold fill or sterling silver. Each piece is handmade to not only be worn now but years to come.
Item Three, New Babe Sweater from St. Roche.
The cozy Babe Sweater is knitted in Peru from an ultra soft Alpaca blend. The hand-tied fringes in “tortoisehell” neutral colors give a playful edge to this standout piece. Ivory plain knit stitches at the back and underarms ensure a flattering silhouette. I personally love paring it with satin or silk bottoms to give a minimalist look a fashion edge.
Item Four, The 002 full length robe in natural from Deiji Studios.
This full length japanese inspired kimono robe (one size fits all) features a contrasting white linen waist tie and extra wide sleeves and is made from 100% stone washed french linen. Everything from this brand is timeless and designed with the utmost quality.
Item Five, Ines Cami from Zingara Collection.
Apron style cami with easy adjustable tie straps. Perfect staple to any outfit in any season and a great piece to layer for the beach days to come.
Item Six, Charcoal Detoxifying Mask from Eight Brook.
An invigorating mask designed to detoxify and re-oxygenate your skin. Enriched with botanicals, including activated Coconut Charcoal to draw out impurities, Aspen Bark to purify the pores, Australian native Caviar Lime to gently exfoliate, and biofermented Lemon Peel to balance skin tone. Used regularly, this mask will unveil a smoother, more radiant complexion. This facial mask literally left my skin glowing for hours and released such positive energy I felt amazing after using it and it’s my number one recommended mask I’ve ever used.
Item Seven, Three times a day recipe book by Marilou.
The book offers more than 100 new recipes that are delicious and easy to make and fit any budget, skill level, or dietary restrictions. I have almost tried every recipe in the book and have not been disappointed such a lovely cookbook and the story behind it is very inspiring. Marilou always loved food and cooking, but suffered from anorexia for six years in her late teens and early twenties. Now twenty-four, Marilou created a blog (Trois fois par jour) as a form of healing so she could start testing recipes, table settings, and food styling; Alexandre — her then boyfriend — took all the pictures.
Item Eight, Market basket backpack from MUR lifestyle.
Handmade in Morocco by local artisans using dried palm leaves this charming basket is perfect for all you foraging aficionados! Equipped with two adjustable leather shoulder straps, and also available as just a basket.
Item Nine, 8oz Candle – Cascadia from Woodlot.
Cascadia is a serendipitous bouquet of bliss and freedom. A mix of patchouli + dense woodsy notes. Alight your sense of adventure. Memories of moments off the beaten track. I’ve personally always loved a muskier and earthy scent with my candles Cascadia is pure-essential oil blend of Fir, Cedar + Patchouli. Woodlot also offers a wide range of other scents.
Item 10, The gift of artwork.
It’s always thoughtful and special to gift something handmade and nothing is more unique and beautiful than artwork. I shared one of my favourite artists Lily Johannah who offers commissions and also has available prints at Saint Cloche Gallery, Paddington. Showcased in the gift guide is “Steve’s a Girl, 2017.” Etching, pen, pencil, crayon, gouache, watercolour and collage on paper. 67cm x 86xm
